Creating a Wonderful World: Social and Emotional Learning for Young Learners

We all want to live in a better world – one where people are self-aware, caring, responsible, and engaged, and everyone works together to achieve their goals. But how can we achieve this in practice – and as EFL teachers, can we really make a difference?

In this interactive session we’ll explore what Social and Emotional Learning is, and why it’s important for young learners. Using examples from National Geographic Learning’s Wonderful World, Second Edition we’ll share practical ways that we can include SEL in our classroom, and activities that will foster these skills in our students – and ourselves.
